Can't Change

I can't change who I am.
I can't change what I feel.
I am my own person.
Everything I feel is real.
I couldn't change if I tried.
You can't change what I believe and say.
This is my own life.
I'm going to live it my way.
We live in a world of differences.
A world where we reap what we sow.
But even in this new age,
We still fear what we don't know.
What's the problem with different?
Why is it so wrong?
No two people are the same.
We all sing our own song.
So how are we expected to think alike?
We all feel what we feel.
Why can't we all just get along?
Is it so hard to believe it's all real?
Well I'm going to fight for what I believe in.
I'll fight for what others believe too.
It's not right to think yours is the only truth.
Theirs share a piece of truth too.
Believe in what you believe in,
But allow others to do the same.
America of bravery and freedom.
Let's put some truth to that name.
